The Viv' Canard Spring Debut

Experience the history behind an archival style

A contemporary heritage

From a deep dive into the rich history of Maison Vivier, Gherardo Felloni has created an iconic new shoe for Spring-Summer 2024: the Viv’ Canard. The model reinterprets a style from the archives designed by Monsieur Vivier himself in the 1950s, of which some versions are conserved within the private collections of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris. Cleverly designed following a fresh vision and exhibiting the highest level of craftsmanship, the new Viv’ Canard exemplifies a modernised elegance that will leave a lasting impression on collections to come.

The revival of the Viv’ Canard

A contemporary twist

Reinterpreting a legend

Soft yet angular lines define the Viv’ Canard’s feminine silhouette, its playful features recall the shape of a duck’s beak and inspire its name. Contrast piping traces from the buckled strap to wrap around the slingback, matching the shade of the kitten heel. The toe is curved and elongated, tapering in at the tip with a square edge. Designed in satin, patent leather and shimmering sequins, each pair is fitted with square buckles, varying in sizes, and a red heart-shaped insole which are a testament to the artful imagination of Roger Vivier.
