Striking geometric portraits of mother and daughter
Honouring a golden age of fashion and photography
An ode to Paris' 60s avant-garde
Expounding upon the Op art inspirations of the VIVIER OP-TICAL collection, Roger Vivier's Icons campaign is a playful mise en abyme framing the beauty Anna Cleveland and her mother, the eminent ’60s supermodel Pat Cleveland, in retro-inspired square images that recall a golden age of large-format fashion photography. Indeed, this cinematic series is brimming with odes to the prolific creativity of Monsieur Vivier in the 1960s.
A playful mise en abyme
Fusing symmetrical composition and peek-a-boo frames, the cinematic series playfully showcases the black-and-white icons of the collection through Pat and Anna Cleveland's spirited poise.
Dichromatic glory
Graphic concentric squares, evoking artist Bridget Riley's black-and-white art, fuse with French Rococo panelling and peek-a-boo frames to display the collection in all its optical glory. Chequered Belle Vivier slingbacks are matched with zebra-printed handbags and two-tone daisy jewellery. For evening wear, mother & daughter display dazzling Jewel bags, swaying their legs to reveal Trompette stiletto pumps, elevating the formal look to its edge.
